Six of Crows Duology
Wow. Wow. Wow. I can say that a hundred thousand more times and it still won't be enough. This duology is amazing! All the characters, the way Leigh laid the plot out, the development in the characters. I fell in love with every character and their faults. So unique, I'm famished. All quarantine, no book had made me feel this way: the desire to finish it in one whole sitting. And whenever I had to get up, it would be begrudgingly, as if I was being separated from a part of my soul. And even now, after finishing it, I want to sit once more through the rush of feelings, knowing what comes next. The writing is flawless. Absolutely poetic. "Fear is a phoenix. You can watch it burn a thousand times and still it will return." And the humour is intact. Made me grin like a dork. "So why do I feel like finding a corner to sob in?" "This is a round room.
