 I do book reviews, so accept it. I am a bookaholic.

Q. Are you a writer? If so, where do you write?

A. Yes, I'm a writer. I write in three different places: Microsoft Word, Google Docs and ZenWriter. I use Microsoft for my longer projects, while Google Docs is for my short stories. ZenWriter is for both.


Q. How many books have you read?

A.???? I don't keep count????


Q. Why do you call yourself Antares?

A. Antares is a star. And I like stars. Also, I don't want people knowing my actual name, internet can be scary you know.


Q. Which unpopular books do you recommend the most?

A. Friday's Daughter, Beach Read, City of Ghosts, The Boy Who Steals Houses.


Q. Are you a college student?

A. Not yet, I'm a high school/Secondary student. 


Q. Do you read books from Wattpad, Radish, etc.?

A. Yes, I do. You can find several of my reviews for books from Wattpad, etc.

A. Control? Never heard of her. Who is she? 


Q. Will you do reviews only on books or other things as well?

A. This blog is called "Confessions of a reading freak" I will most definitely be confessing my feelings about books, movies, shows, and OTPs.

Cardan's letters to Jude By Antares Everyone knows I am madly in love with Cardan Greenbriar. This post is basically a spoiler to those who haven't read The Wicked King. So if you haven't, I'll kindly advise you to read it, then come back here to read my banter on these heart-wrenching letters Cardan wrote to Jude. This isn't the letter, but Cardan wrote it in The Cruel Prince when Jude haunted his thoughts all the time. And it was one of the dorkish things he's ever done while think he was doing something disgusting . Renegades Review

Renegades  By Marissa Meyer Review by Antares Renegades is an amazing book, no doubt about it. There are countless things I love about it, but the top is and always will be Nova Artino. The setting and the pace of the story is wonderful, I think this is one of the best ways a story explained its universe. The writing was strong yet simple. And the change in point of views is also one of the best things. To know what the other doesn't. [SPOILERS] I will rant a lot about Nova, so prepare yourself.  Nova Artino is an Anarchist. The Super Villain league led by Ace Anarchy until he died. The surviving Anarchists went into hiding. At first I didn't think I'd like Nova because you usually see villains killing off innocent people, but Nova had other views. And, honestly, I was on her side the whole time. Supernova Review

Supernova by Marissa Meyer Review by Antares Oh, my God. Is it over? Is the epilogue really the epilogue? So, you're telling me the two people I wanted to get reunited never happened? Marissa! WHY!? Supernova is the third and final book of the Renegades trilogy. And I am happy to say the ending has both exceeded my expectations and made me scream. Now, I don't want to give out any spoilers but be warned that there will be moments in the book that will make you cry, or at least be sad. I quite like how things turned out and the fact that both Nova and Adrien just went along with everything like nothing chaotic just happened. Many questions are answered, and it answers many reasons of villainous doings. I was right to suspect Ace and Phobia. They both never really passed the vibe check.
